BIA BLOOMS POV.

Bia Blooms is a Black, woman-owned floral studio founded in Los Angeles, offering services in Los Angeles, Southern California & New York. Pairing bold, vibrant design with operational precision, our studio specializes in floral design for events, industry parties and brand activations.

Full service florals designed for events is the backbone of what we do. Creative execution is key, but we also recognize that the experiential programming can throw logistical curveballs along the way. We are organized, collaborative and solutions-oriented partners. We love playing a part in the process and bringing a larger creative vision to life.

The studio has arranged and placed flowers into thousands of hands, spaces and venues since its founding in 2020. As told by the New York Times, Bia Blooms designs are “highly sought after for exuberant, color-saturated compositions.” But no matter the color palette, the Bia Blooms signature style introduces personality, plays with levels, and explores space.

THE FOUNDER.

Hi! I’m Bia. Working in florals has been my way to recognize beauty and celebrate moments in time. Working in step with my creative brain, I have an operational background and pride myself on cultivating a professional, smooth experience for clients.

As shared with WWD, running Bia Blooms Studio is “a fusion of so many of the things that I’ve done in my past.” My career began at CAA, then onto legacy brand Fred Segal serving on the corporate team as operations manager reporting directly to the CEO; in this role I oversaw the integration of our high end brand partners and the experiential in-store activations. Following this role, I stepped into entrepreneurship full time. For over a decade, I started and ran an events-based talent agency that became a multi-million dollar business representing a roster of touring authors and artists. My work operating a talent agency was rooted in a culture of care, driven by person-centered systems and believed that attention to detail was crucial. Now while running Bia Blooms, I bring this perspective. I’ve been in my client shoes planning logistics and managing the interests of multiple stakeholders. My floral studio team and I bring this focus to every project we undertake.

I believe in the power of flowers: how they animate spaces and the way they lift spirits and brighten the mood. Flowers are always a good idea.
